Carrie L. Tedrahn Carrie L. Tedrahn is the Director/Owner of Early Notes Music Studio. She began teaching Kindermusik® at Benedictine University in January , 1997 and quickly moved into her own studio in Naperville as the music family outgrew the campus facilities. Due to shifts in the economy, in 2009 she relocated her classes and private music lessons to Ellman's Music Center. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Elmhurst College and earned her MBA at Lewis University. In addition to her private studio classes, she has volunteered her time to work with students in Wheaton's public and private schools in the early childhood music programs.
Carrie currently is a member of ECMMA and has belonged to the Children's Music Network, Early Childhood Connections and NAYEC. Carrie recently (February 2016) became the organist and music leader at Trinity Lutheran Church - West Chicago where she is responsible for choosing hymns and leading worship from the organ bench and accompanying the Hosanna Choir (kids ages 5 - 5th grade). she has started a brass ensemble which accompanies liturgical worship on festival Sundays. Carrie is married to Tom Tedrahn, professional drummer and private percussion instructor for the past 40 years in the Glenbard School system. Tom and Carrie are the proud parents of Frank - a college student who is a musician and computer expert - spending his non studying hours repairing combo organs from the 1970s.
